AfroHabesha Outdoors Mission
To expand access to outdoor spaces and experiences to the Ethiopian Community in Colorado.
Ethiopian Ski Day is a signature community event created and led by AfroHabesha Outdoors, an organization founded by Haile and Yeti.
After moving from Ethiopia to Colorado, Haile tried skiing and hiking for the first time and completely fell in love with the mountains. When Yeti joined him, she was hesitant at first but before long, she found her own deep connection to the outdoors. What began as small group outings has evolved into a thriving community.
